BC probate forms, prepared from your answers.

ProbateBuddy asks an executor structured questions about an estate and assembles the British Columbia Supreme Court probate forms from the answers, in filing order and ready to print.

It is being built and tested now, and is not open for submissions yet. There is nothing to sign up for on this page.

How it is meant to work

Three steps, no legal drafting on your part.

  1. Answer the questionnaire

Plain questions about the deceased, the will, the assets, and the people entitled to notice.

  2. The forms are assembled

Your answers populate the prescribed Supreme Court forms directly. No wording is invented.

  3. You get a filing package

One document, in the order the registry expects, for you to review, sign and file.

What it is built for

Deliberately narrow at first. An estate that falls outside this needs a lawyer, not a form generator.

Within scope

  • The deceased left a will
  • The original will exists and can be filed
  • The estate's assets are in British Columbia
  • No Public Guardian and Trustee involvement

Outside scope

  • Estates with no will
  • A lost or damaged will
  • Assets held outside the province
  • A contested estate, or any dispute among beneficiaries
